The research is showing that busyness is so prevalent – stress and burnout are at an all-time high.
- Mental Health: The American Psychological Association found that 61% of adults report feeling stressed due to the demands of their day-to-day lives.
- Sleep Deprivation: The CDC reports that approximately 35% of adults are not getting enough sleep, often due to busy schedules and high workloads.
- Burnout Rates: A Gallup study indicated that around 76% of workers experience burnout on the job at least sometimes, with high workloads being a significant contributing factor.
- Technology Impact: A survey by the Pew Research Center revealed that 47% of employees feel “always on” due to technology, which blurs the lines between work and personal life.
